DAMARK SOCIAL HUMANITARIAN ASSOCIATION is an association of people who care about common world problems in the areas of education, ecology, health and social inequality. Goals of the organization:
The primary goals of the organizations are:
-Global expansion of educational opportunities, improving health, eliminating hunger, and solving environmental problems;
Help to eradicate: racial conflict, religious persecution, gender inequality, human rights and freedoms violations;
-Organizing humanitarian missions.
Damark is an organization that works every day to protect the most vulnerable populations.
Our offices are registered in Spain, Ukraine and South Africa.
In Spain, our activities have been focused on working with foreigners legally in the Kingdom. Conducting consultations and information meetings about the rights and obligations of foreigners. We offer free legal advice, job searches and courses to improve your skills. We help everyone to adapt as much as possible to life in society. Find a job, pay taxes and live with dignity. We do everything we can to reduce the economic burden on public and social budgets in Spain.
In South Africa our organization presented two humanitarian projects. One of them is the "Open World" educational program.
A program aimed at providing pre-school education for elementary school children whose families cannot and/or are unable to provide it for their children for various reasons. The second project is "Helping Hand". A project to provide hot meals and bags of hot food and grocery bags for the populations most in need.
The organization's work in Ukraine and Europe in the context of the crisis associated with Russia's war against Ukraine:
As a result of Russia's military aggression against Ukraine, European countries are facing a humanitarian refugee crisis from the war. Millions of refugees from Ukraine are forced to move to European countries. And millions of Ukrainian citizens were left in Ukraine without money, clothing, medicine, or food; their homes were completely destroyed.
The Management Board of the Damark Association decided to open a crisis center to provide humanitarian assistance to Ukraine at a meeting on February 26, 2022. We have established 19 points of reception of humanitarian aid. We have two warehouses for storage and sorting of humanitarian aid.
In order to achieve maximum effectiveness of humanitarian aid to Ukraine, our organization works directly with the Ukrainian authorities. All agreements, memorandums, cooperation agreements necessary for humanitarian crisis management have been signed between Ukrainian central authorities, local authorities and regional civil military administrations and our organization for coordination of humanitarian activities.
The crisis center of our Association organized the work of more than 60 volunteers. We sent seven humanitarian convoys. More than 200 tons of humanitarian cargo have been sent today.
Buses organized by our Association have evacuated more than 350 women, children and old people, including 14 disabled children and their families, 41 people were evacuated with the help of a special medical plane. The refugees we evacuated are now socially adapted.
Our Association works every day to protect the most vulnerable populations
Our Association recently opened:
1) Central distribution points for food and basic necessities for Ukrainian refugees;
2) Center for Social Adaptation of Refugees.
We will not stop in our struggle to overcome the war crisis in Ukraine, we will increase the volume of humanitarian supplies, increase and expand assistance to refugees. We have tasks before us, and we are moving toward achieving them.
1. Implementing the United Nations program, achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
Eradicating hunger, ensuring food security and improving nutrition, and promoting green agriculture.
In our time, the food and agricultural system must change radically if we want to guarantee food for the population. Improving agricultural productivity is necessary to reduce the risk of hunger.
Today, our organization has developed and is implementing a plan to create a network of small farms. The main idea of the project is:
a) Participation of specialists from the agricultural sector. Development of a strategy for the application of new technologies in growing agricultural products.
b) Consolidation of existing small farms and creation of new farms to maximize the use of natural resources and meet the growing demand for food products.
2. Representational functions of the organization.
In order to achieve our organization's aims and purposes, we have set ourselves the objective of obtaining consultative status with the committees of the Council of Europe, the European Parliament and the United Nations.
This status will allow our organization to promptly receive and process information about the most acute problems and the general state of affairs in Europe and the world.
Participate in the discussion and drafting of laws and regulations concerning our organization's fields of activity.
3. Working to protect the most vulnerable populations.
To respond quickly to emergencies and to be able to offer better assistance in different regions and countries, to constantly increase and expand our representation and to unite people supporting the ideas and activities of our organization. So that we can expand our programs to protect the most vulnerable and help the most affected people... In addition, regional offices give us the opportunity to bring together analysts on the most important issues in a particular region to develop the most urgent response to a particular situation
